When you adopt a Sunset Park Cat, you get:

• The unconditional love of a feline family member

• The knowledge that you have given a new lease on life to a cat truly in need

• A cat that has been fully vetted: spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV/FELV, and dewormed (unless otherwise noted)

• Support from our team throughout the adoption process!

Our Adoption Process

The first step in the adoption process is filling out our adoption application. If we determine that you would be a good fit for one of our cats, you will typically hear from us within 2-4 days.

 

The next step is a meet-and-greet so you can get to know the cat a bit better and determine whether they would be your perfect match. We typically do these via Zoom but may be able to set up a meeting in person as well.

 

In order to adopt from us you must be located in or close to NYC.

 

All kittens must go to a home that has another young, playful cat at home or be adopted as a pair. We do not adopt out single kittens.

 

Our adoption fee is $150 for a single cat or $200 for a pair. This helps to cover our costs so we can continue helping more cats.
